MUTUAL LIFE OF AUSTRALASIA.
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received April 27th, 11.42 p.m.) SYDNEY, April VI. The annual meeting of the Mutual Life Association of Australasia was highly satisfactory. The report presented showed that the new business amounted to £760.605, the Association's record. The renewal premiums also increased by nearly thirteen thousand, while the ratio of expenses was reduced to 26s per cent. The general manager declared the Association's success was evidence that the condition e>f Australasia was not bo gloomy as some English critics would endeavour to believe.
