A RETALIATORY TARIFF.
OTTAWA, April 17
Mr \V. S. Fielding, Minister of Finance, announced that since negotiations had failed to induce. Germany to treat Canadian products fairly, a eurtax of one-third additional to the .present duty would be levied on German goods.
