Tlie King and the Prince of Wales yesterday morning bade, farewell to the Queen, who is about to vit-.it her fatiier at Copenhagen. Later in tha day the King embarked on the* Royal yacht Victoria and Albert, at Portsmouth, but his departure for Portugal wa.s delayed till this morning owing to a gale. • It i-s officially announced that the Kir.g ar.d Queen will- visit Ireland in July or Au.u.t, Later. King Edward has sailed for Lisbon. The definite announcement of the Royal visit to Ireland in July or August aroused enthusiasm there. The French .Minister of Foreign Ailali-, attaches great importance to King Edward.---forthcoming interview with M. Loubet, and the Parisians anticipate his visit with eagerness. (Received April 2nd. 12.43 a.m.) LONDON, April 1. Queen Alexandra has arrived at Op.-n----_iatmi. PARIS, April 1. It is officially stated in Paris that nothing lirs been arranged as regards King Edward and Pifsideut Loubet meeting. They may pes-dbiy meet in the course of M. Loubet's forthcoming trip to the Mediterranean.
