Ali the Irish-Americans except the members of the Cl?n-Na-Gael, which is irreconcilable, approve of the Land Purchase Bill. Justice? O'Gorman and Fitzgerald describe it as the precursor of a Irish Parliament. Tlh» newspapers declare that Mr Gladstone's propof-ed remedy was political, but that this one is purely economic, and likely to do more good.
