(Received January 23rd, 12.54 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 22. Advkea from Maracaibo state that three German wanships bombarded Fort San Carlo* yesterday. The fort replied. BERLIN, January 22. The German newspaper " Kolnische Zeitung " says Germany would never think of directing Che operations in Venezuela from Berlin or disturbing the negotiations.
