ASHBURTON.
At the Ashburton Coiut .on Thursday, before Messrs Alcorn apd Bullock, J.P.s, an application for a rehearing of the case Emmerson v Carpendale was not granted. Before Mr Wray, S.M., D. Robinson was fined 20s and costs for refusing to leave the Mount Somers Hotel when requested. Judgment for 10s 9d was entered up in the case J. Allen v H- Stephenson.
