1 p.m.—Procession to stent from MankipatL Council Chambers, oadsting of lecal banus, volunteer., Friendly Societies, Fi» Brigade, lumpers, trades, comic items, private citizens, etc. Prizes will be given for the best Friendly Society's display and tableau, tiie best decorated trades' cart, tbe beat lumpers' display, the best decorated go-cart or perambulator, the best decorated bicycle, the best dressed horse, the best dressed hack and rider, tbe best mounted Maori in native costume, the best comic dkjplav. the best dsecoraied private carriage or trap, the best sailor's display, cb-Jdi-en's tableau (girls), children's tableau (boys). There wiH be sports in London street later in tbe afternoon, and a display of fireworks at night.
