Cygnet will sail for Kaikoura and Cheviot every Thursday on arrival of 7.45 train, returning next day. The Rotomahana arrived from Wellington I at G.SO a.m. yesterday, and left for Wellington last night. The .tonga arrived from Havelock at 8.30 a.m. yesterday. The Hawke's Bay. arrived in London on April 18th, and has been chartered for one voyage to the River Plate, so she will not make her usual winter trip to New Zealand. The St. Fillans -is chartered only for the voyage from New York to the colonies, and will not be loaded homewards by the Tyaer agents. • The Chatham cleared for Timaru yesterday, and will probably leave to-day. The Cygnet left for Akaroa at 3 p.m. yesterday. A __rque was signalled from the North yesterday afternoon. It was supposed to be the Kongebyrd, from Sydney. The Eliza Firth cleared for Kaipara yesterday.
