DVXEDIX, May 19.
The Government Offices throughout the colony will be closedon Tuesday, June3rd, the Prince of Wales's, birthday. Trooper Wilson, of Lawrence, who returned on Saturday evening with the Sixth Contingent, was admitted to the hospital last evening, suffering from a slight illness. The Hen. W. Hall-Jones this morning inspected the new Law Courts, which wiH be opened by the Minister of Justice during the Coronation week. The Hon. HallJones left for Christchurch by the express, and is going to Wellington to-morrow. He has agrwed to employ toe remaining number of unemployed, fourteen in all, on the cutting in connection with the Otago Central Railway.
