The City Council mrt last night. Prts- j cnt—Tha' Mayor, Crs. Gray, Samuels, Clarke, Wood, Taylor, Simpson, Macdonald, Morris, Loughnan, Pavling, and J. T. Hie local bodies had agreed to contribute on the same scale as on the occasion of the Jubilee, and the contribution of-the. City Council would be £250.
