PIGS AND POULTRY.
In consequence of ths wet morning there were only small .entries of pigs, all of which were suckers and weaners, and they made 2s 6d to Bs. Poultry was in fair supply, but. owing to the export buyers not operating very largely, as they have lar~e stocks on hand waiting shipment to South Africa, prices were easier. Hens made 2s to 3s 3d, pullets 2s 6d to 3s 6d. roosters 2s to 3s 6d, and extra>to 4s, geese 5s to 5s 6d, turkey cocks (small) 9s to lls, and hens 5s to Bs, a! , , at per paiif.
