LEESTOX SALE.

There was a large yarding of sheep and pigs, and a small entry of cattle, at the yards on Friday. There -were 7000 sheep yarded, comprising chiefly breeding ewes, the bulk of which were old and poor sorts, only fit for boiling down. For good young ewes the market had an upward tendency, and any loc'of good quality was readily sold. Prices -were similar to quotations in our market report. There were 400 pigs yarded. Baconera were better, owing to competition from all the buyers, and values were 2s better than at Addington. A line of Mrs Rusbrook's—3o baconers—brought from 33s to 365. Mr Winters 22 baconers brought 40s. Other sales were from 30s to 40s, porkers were 25s to 30s, good stores 14s to 20s, weaners 2s 6d to is.
