WELLINGTON, April 7. The final of the Combined Championship resulted in Miss Gore and H. M. Gota beating Mise Kennedy and Laishley 9-7, 5-7, 7-5. In the final of the Men's Doubles Championship Laishley end Adams beat Gore Bros. 8-6, 7-5. Swanston (8) beat Laishley (owes 5) in the final of the Men's Handicap, 8-0, 7-5.
A match was played at Rangiora on Sattir- 1 dfty between the Raugiora and Oxford Clubs, resulting in a win for. the former by 17 games. In consequence of the bad weather only about one-half of the players toojc part in the instoh. The fdllowinfi are the scores:— S-ixglee—AUison (R) 9 beat G inter (O) 4. Grant (R) 9 beat Ryder <O) 3. Wallace (H) 9 beat Ryder, junr. (O) 7, Miss Howard (R) 6 beat Miss Hunter (0) 0. Mies Parish (0) 6 beat Miss Dohrman (R) 3.
