YESTERDAY EVENING'S WEATHER REPORT.
The following weather reports were received /rom New Zealand stations at 5 o'clock yesterday evening: — Manukau Heads—Wind, N.W., fresh; baro., 29.94; therm., 62; drizzle, sea rough. Castiepoint— Wind, N.W., fresh; baro., 29.46; therm., 60; drizzle; sea moderate. "Wellington—"Wind, 2T.W., gale; baro., 29.40; iherm.. 56; gloomy. Kaikoura—Cairn; baro., 20.28; therm., 65; gloomy; sea smooth. Bluff—Calm; bare, 29.13; therm., 53; fine. Captain Edwin telegraphed:—'tow pressure from west ia near the meridian of South Cape, and one from the same direction is due on the 20th. Pressure is also low in the Tasman Sea and travelling to the S.E. by E. N.W. to S.W. gales, with rain, are to be expected in all parts of the country, and much colder weather with the change of wind to the pouth-west."
