(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.} DUNEDIN, December 18.' At the Burnside market- 118 head of fat cattle were yarded, including some wllfinished bullocks and heifers, for which there was a good demand. Others were not eagerly sought after, and fell 10s'to 15s per head. Best t-nllocks mad* from £10 to £11 10s, .good £9 to £9 17s 6d, medium £7 10s to £8 15s, light £6 to £7, prime heifers £8 to £9 12s 6d, good £6. 10s to £7 15s, light cows and heifers £5 to £6. Fat sheep—2272 penned. Prime shorn brought last week's prices, but woolly, medium quality shorn wethers and ewe* of all descriptions declined fully Is 6d per head. Prime wethers, shorn, realised from 14s to 15s, light 12s 6d to 13s 6d. prime ewes 13s to 14s medium lis 6d> to 12s 6d, inferior 10s to lis. Fat lambs—__3 penned. Best brought 12s 6d to l-*_. ordinary 10s 6d to 12s, medium 8s to 10s. __Pigs —243 penned. Bacon pigs made from 35s to 50s, extra large up to 60s, porkers 24s to 345, stores 16s to 225, slips 12s to 15s, suckers 6s to lis.
