There was a good attendance at the Rangiora markets on Tuesday. " Iα the Northern Central Yards there was an entry of 800 sheep, 140 cattle, 180 pigsPrices were:—Fat wethers 13a 6d to 14a, butchers' fat «wes 9s to 12s, fat lambs 10s 9d to 12a, hogget* 10r 6d to 11s 6d Cattle —Prime beef 23s per 1001b, springers £6 to £8, two-year-old cattle £4 10s to £5, yearlings £1 15s to £52 5s r calv-es 20s to 28s, Pigs—Baooners 40s to 47s 6d, porkera 20s to 28s, good stores 15s to 16s, weaners 6s to Bs, suckers 4s to Ss. In the. produce yards heavy sheepskins made up to. 3s 9d, merino do to 3s 6d» hoggets and light skins Is 6d to 2s 6d, pelts 5d to Bd, bag pieces 2d to 3d, fat 12s to los owt, 2d to 3idt, fowls 2s 6d to 4s pair, dnoks 3s to 4s, geese 4s , to 5s 6d, turkeys 15s to 20s; chickwbeat 2s 9d to 3s, feed barley 2s 6d, oats 2s 4d to' 2s 6d, crushed beans 3s, feed peas 3e, oateheaf -chaff 45s to 50s ton, straw 25a to 308, potatoes 25s to 30s.
