At an entertainment in the City Hall the prizes won by the pupils of Mrs Coleman were presented c.a follows: — Elsie- Cookson, Ist arithmetic, let physiology, let history, Ethel Searell, Ist theory of music, let English; Kathleen Horahill, Ist Scripture, Ist geography; Maud "Williamson, Ist prize eeeay on Wordsworth; Ruby Oox, 2nd prize essay, 2nd English; Gladys Searell, let French, Ist arithmetic, 2nd division; Lizzie Burnett, let botany, 2nd physiology, 2nd geography, Ist diligence; Winnie Turner, punctuality and recitation; Nellie Jakins, improvement in writing; Leila Barker, arithmetic and spelling (improvement); Dorothy Gill, general diligence, speciality in reading and writing.
