THE DISCOVERY.
Aβ the wind and sea were rather "lively" yesterday, his Excellency the Governor Lady Kanfurly, and party did not leave for Wellington till the afternoon, and- availed themselves of the interval to visit Captain Scott on board the Discovery. About thirty Maoris from Kaiapoi paid a visit to the exploring steamer yesterday morning. They came by invitation, and were entertained on deck. t The s?a and wind were too rough toallow of the Discovery being put into dock yesterday. She is to go in this morning, and come out on Friday, leaving finally on Saturday at 2 p,nx At 11 o'clock that morning Bishop JuKns will hold on board a apecial service, at -which Will be used a harmonium which, bas been purchased and presented to the eteamer.
