Mr W. Pratt and (Mass Pmutt returned from 'Hammer Springs by list evening's twin. The Rev. Father Henry, of New South Wales, was a. passenger from Wellington by thfe Roibomahana yesterday. Captain Willis returned by tihe same steamer. Messrs A. Lee-Smith, E. H. and the Rev, Father Price were passengers for tihe South by yesterday 1 morning's express. Messrs R. F. Smith and L. Caselber (Wellington) and G. G. Granville (Melbourne) arrived! from the North yesterday. Messrs A. Boulane (Rakaia), W. Butement (Masterton),> Mr and Mrs Washlinn (New York), and Messrs Salmon, Sullivan, and Cody (Wellington), arrived in town yesterday. Our Dunedin correspondent telegraphs that Mr H. G. Ell inspected the Inebriates' Home at Waitati yesterday morning, and afterwaixfe proceeded Ihome by the express. ' Mr Tom- Pollard , is on a flying visit to Christchupch. Captain Willis returned yestewfej from e> short trip to Sydney. The - following -were arrivals at Hanmer Springs during the week ended December 18th:—Miss Tait, Miss Reid (Summer), Mr J.
