FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
(PRXS3 ASSOCIATION . TEX.SOBAK,) WELLINGTON, December 14. The well-known cafe, tibe Trooadero, eit* ated in Willie street, and occupied by, Mt G. Pinnock, was gutted by. fire at an. early • hour this morning. The origin of the fire is unknown, but it is believed it start: ed in, or near, , the kitchen. In a few" minutes the whole of the interior was practically ruined. All the occupants escaped without injury/ but| had none too much time after the discovery of the outbreak by the proprietor. . Messrs Jolly and Co., estate agents, had a shop under tlu same roof, and this was completely des* troyed. The >Trocadero buildings are of wood, and are owned by Messrs John Duthie and 06. ■ i ■ The. insurances are:—Building, £2000, , in the Manchester Insurance C 0. ,, contents, £660, in the (Law, Union, and Crown, and . £$60 in the Imperial..
