GERALDINE.
There was a good attendance at the Geraldine live stock sale yorterday, when the entry of sheep wae between 5000 and 6000. Ine sa.le under thfe hammer dragged a little, but nearly, every pen was cleared after the sa!e. at a &ight reduction on late rates. Fat ewes -brought 16s, two and fonr-tooth wethers and maiden ewes (shorn} 11s 3d. three-qnarterbred hoggets 12s 2d to 12s 6d, two and four-tooth eves and Jarabe {all counted) 9s 6d to 9» lOd. There was a small entry of cattle, but a good sale. Cows in profit brought £3 3s to £6 17s 6d. springers £5 5s and £5 10?,. dry cows £■% S S . j-earlings £2 ss. There , was a small entry of pigs, and a good 'demand. Small stores brought 5& 3d to 12a 6d, and weaners 6s and 6s 6d.
Messrs H. Matsnn hare sold 150 acres <t. account of Mr J. G. Murray, part of ihe original Greenpark estate, to* Mr Bearman.
