ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A* man named Donald Maclennan early yesterday fell off the" platform of the Sumner tram, near Redeliffs, and dislocated has left shoulder, in addition to injuring his face and , head. He was taken to the Hospital, but was able to leave again shortly after Ins admission. A lad named William Jones fell out of a- cart while driving along near Bromley six o'clock on Tuesday evening, and fractured his ankle. He was taken to the Hospital to-day. (press association xelegbam.) NAPIER, October 30. James Burtenshaw, an old resident of thie district, attempted to commit suicide )a?t night by cutting his throat with a razor. He was removed to the hospital, and is expected to recover.
