ONLY THREE 3iDRE DAYS. We propose closing the list of subscriptions on Saturday next, November 2nd. Those who have not already contributed, ard would like to help to brighten "Christmas on the vuldt" for "Our Boys," will therefore kindly send subscriptions to '"The Press" office before that day. Agents of "The Press ,, will also oblige by sending in their l-sts and remitting iho oash they have received, so as to reach us not later than Saturday next, Nov«anber 2nd. As already notified, gifts in kind s&ould he left at the Public Works Office, Post Office Buildings, Cathedral Square, not Liter than Friday next, November Ist, after which date they cannot be received. All such srfte will be acknowledged in "The Press" if the donors will kindly advise us of their having boen sent. The parcels Rhould be plainly marked "Troopers' Gifts," together with the name of the sender.

The following are among the articles mentioned by a returned officer in a letter to "The Press" as being most 'suitable articles to send:—Tobacco, pipelighters, chocolate, cocoa, curry powder, mustard, tea tablets, socks, bootlaces, knives, sixpenny editions of books, ink pencils, writing pads, envelopes, plum-puddings, or contents for making same. Matches were also mentioned, but these' are*not allowed to be shipped with other goods, so must be excluded.
