SIR HECTOR'S REPLY TO THE PREMIER'S TELEGRAM.
. {FUESS ASSOCIATE OX TELEGBAM.) WELLINGTON, October 22. In the House to-day, Mr Seddon read the following telegram he had received from General Sir Hector Maedonald : —"Your kind wire has given mc much pleasure, and I thank you very warmly for the hearty welcome of Government and people.of New Zealand, which I fully appreciate, and shall ever treasure. —ISlacdonald."
