VOLUNTEERS TO THE FORE.
It is with great pleasure that we have received the following letter from the captain of the Etlesmere Guards, together with a cheque for £2:—. : "Doyleston, October 22nd, 1901. "Sir,—Birring the smoke cottcert iheld on Saturday night, at the conclusion of tli& Ellegmere ..Guards' camp ut Doyleston, 'Our Boys , at the front were not forgotten. After the toast of 'Our Boys in South Africa.' the enclosed was collected, to convey to them ia a practical manner our Christmas greetings. "Faithiullj" yours, "TREyETRAN BURNS, "Captain Coimnariding Ellesmere Ouaids."
