(~aißS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) , WELLINGTON, October 21. The following is the Agent-General's cablegram dated London. 19th:—"Canterbury mutton 3|d per lb, Dunedin and Southland 3_d, North Island 3Jd. Papanui (damaged) 2|d. River Plate 3£d. Mutton very dull; jnarket over-supplied with heavy carcases of River Plate mutton in large supply. No alteration in the iamb market since last. week. Beef weak; supf>lies of River Plate beef large. New Zeaand hinds 3|d • fores 2|d. Good demand' for butter; Canadian 110s. Danish 1275; | Cheese, dull; Canadian 455. Hemp, very ! firm; New Zealand "good fair Wellington," spot £31, January-March shipment £28 10s." Messrs Dalgety and Company, Dimited, have received, the following cable message from their London Office, under date 18th October: — "Frozen Meat—The market is dull,-but prices are "not quotabvy lower. "Butter.—Prices of butter are somewhat firmer. -._ "Leather and Basis.—Since our last i telegram prices of- leather and basils in ; general are from £d to _d per lb higher.*'
