The dredge of the Excelsior Company is about reedy for work, Of the 2000 preference shares authorised to be issued, 1745 have been subscribed for, and allotted. i The HarUey and BiUtf Company'e dredge has been working- new ground ~at the top end of her claim for several weeks now, with poor results, and she started shifting down on Thursday morning. There is still about 150 yards of new ground untried at the top end. - . : ■
