POLICE COURT.
INEBRIETY. Messrs W. Hargreaves and C. M. Gray, J.P.s, presiding afc the Police Court yesterday, fined Robert Winter ss - , and costs, for inebriety, and convicted and discharged a first offender. SCHOOL ATTENDANCE. For not sending their children to school regularly, Mrs T. Atkinson and Annie Moir ■were fined'2e'and costs, and Chas. Hodges 6s and costs. - THEFT. A boy, twelve years of'age, Trent to work for Henry Fisher, picture freeie maker, on the 4tli of this month. . Between that' date and the 15th, .he took two boxes, of colours, which he sold for two shillings and' three. shillings, and he also possessed himself of other small suma in various ways. At the Court yesterday the . boy , .pleaded ''Guilty." Evidence was given of his good character. The boy was ordered to repay' the stolen money, and was convicted and discharged.
