NAPIER HARBOUR BOARD.
(PBESS ASSOCIATICK TEIEGKAM.} NAPIER, October 15. At the Harbour Board to-day it was announced that the E shed at the root of the breakwater had been gazetted -a cnstoms examination shed. 'The committee resolved to slightly alter the tariff rates by making horse boxes (empty) Is 6d each, and adding on tbfollowing:—Ballast stone, shingle, sand, rubble, etc., Is per ton; in or out coal cargoes in bulk landed or snipped at the breakwater, haulage rate, 3d per ton, the consignee to supply railway trucks, and all such coal to be weighed on the Board's weighbridge; the minimum charge in such cases to be £2 between the hoars of 9 a.m, and 5 p.m., overtime rates to be paid outside of these hours.
