It is rumoured that the members of the Ministry, who only hold office on suffrance, are likely to resign swid leave the,.ierttlement of the strike to their successors:, (Received July 11th, 1.4 a.m.) ' PERTH, July 10. The Premier has forwarded a letter to the Railway Meat's Association stating that if the, strikers return to work before 8 o'clock"onTliurs'da.y morning, they will' lie reinstated. After thmt hour their absence will bo regarded as resignation, and steps iviil at once be taken to rill their positions. In the event of all the strikers returning jKirmanent work will be found for all the men temporarily taken, on during the strike. If the strikers resume their action will in no way prejudice the Government proposal to refer the disputes to a Board of Enquiry.
