PUBLIC AGITATION AS TO ITS WEAK- , . NESS. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received July 3rd, 9.16 a.m.) LONDON, July 2. A public agitation is being worked up on the weakness of the navy. There is a rumour that Rear-Admiral Lord Charles Beresford is anxious to resign his position in the navy in February, in order to have a free hand to criticise the navaE and military administration. (It will be remembered that Lord Charles Beresford, who has a distinguished record, resigned hns position as a Lord Commissioner oi tha Admiralty in 1888, on the question of the strength of the fleet.)
