THE MINING DISPUTE AT AUCKLAND.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION* TBEKGRAM.) '' , AUCKLAND, July 1. Mr D.- Robertson (chairman) and Mr A. Kntz (committeeman), of the' Waihi Miners' Union, have, it is reported, been dismissed by the Waihi Company. A special meeting of the Union was held on Saturday night to decide re the award going before the Arbitration Court. Tho voting resulted as follows: —For, 170; against, 1. The meeting passed a vote of sympathy with Messrs Robertson and Katz for the manner in which they had been dismissed, and by a vote of the meeting" Mssrs Katz -ancS. Robertson weTo placed on the books of tho Union.
