Tho PLatfoims Committee met .yesterday to'pa*_--'accounts,'M? W. H. Cooper presiding. * . A letter was received from,the Domain Board, asking for a. donation to make _p for damage clone to tracks by carting timber. , The Secretary was instructed to write to the' Board, ask.ng them the amount of the damage. The main accounts were passed for payment', "and "extras" left to a committee of three to conaider. The Chairman moved that a small sum be granted to Mr Dob_sqn for his .Sfervaoes. 'flic motion was un-mipiously pa-ssed, and the sum fixed at £7 7s. The Chairman also revM-rn-ed, with high commendation, to the services of the secretary, Mr E. J. Righton.
