ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE CHILDREN'S DEMONSTRATION.

Mr R. T. Searell has kindly offered to attend each school, and give rehearsals Of the National Anthem. The headmasters have bsen communicated with at the principal city and suburban schools. A general rehearsal will probably be arranged' for next Saturday week in the Drillabed, which has been obtained.

Mr H. Dickey has been arranged with to exhibit a Punch and Judy in the Canterbury Hall annexe, where the children will be entertained after the ceremony on Monday, June 24th. The children's platforms have not yet been sectioned off, as the schools are still forwarding the number of children to attend.

With rejrard to the bouquet to be presented to Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall, schools having over three hundred scholars have been each asked to nominate a girl. It has been suggested that a formal ballot take place, and the drawing be done by the Mayoress, Mrs A. E. G. Rhodes.
