An inquest, was held yesterday on the body of Sarah Jane Lockhart, who died at the Hospital on Si-tin-dary. The evidencs went to show that deceased had been in a state of ill-health and mental depresision foi some time past, and had been sent to England for the benefit of the change. Sine, returning from there, however, about- a month ago, her condition had become worse.. After hearing the evidence of her married sister, Mary Leech Hooper, and of Drs. R. . M. Roper was thrown from his horse at Kirwee yesterday, and brought to the Christchurch Hospital with a dislocated shoulder. This was soon set.
