METHVEN.
At the Methven yards on Thursday about 6500 sheep yarded. There was a very fair attendance, and though bidding was somewhat dull, most of tho iots passed were placed privately. Two-tooth halfbred ewes brought up to 16s Bd, aged halfbred ewes 13s 6d. ewes and lambs 13s 3d, fat eV-ts 13s 6d to 14s 6d, fat wethers 19s 9d, 2-tooth crossbred do 15s. lambs from 12s 6d for small stores to 15s 5d for fat.
