WHEAT, WOOL, AND OTHER MARKETS.
LONDON, January 18. The wheat market is dull, with a tendency downwards; New South Wales Janu-ary-February shipments 30s 3d, Victorian 30s 6d, sailer parcels 29s 3d. Copper is nominal; spot £71 7s 6d, three months £72 2s 6d. Tin is steady; spot £120 10s, three months £119 10s. Iron £53 9s. Lead £16 2s 6d. Sugar is dull; German beet 9s 3d, first marks 11s 3d.
Wool is very firm and unchanged. The Bradford market is quiet. Common sixties 18id, supers 19id.
Butter is quiet and a shade weaker; choicest 110s to 112s. There is good demand for secondary at 96s to 110s, Danish 1255.
Silver is at 2s 5 l-16th d. (Received January 20th, 4.58 p.m.) LONDON, January 19. Tile wool sales are spirited, and prices are fully maintained.
(Received January 21st, 12.40 a.m.) LONDON, January 20. At the wool sales prices are slightly easier; crossbreds firm.
The wool catalogued to date amounts to 48,766 bales, and 46,715 have been sold.
