The unfinished match in the semi-final of the Rirk Tournament between Victoria (Brackenridge) and Kaituna (Sneddon) reunited, after a tie—twenty-one all—on the twenty-first head, in a victory for Brackenridge by two points. In the semi-final for the Single 3 Maddison and Bennie played an excellent game, resulting in a tie, ten all, On the last head Maddieon got a couple in, and won by 12 to 10. Maddison and Wanklyn, who had survived the of the innocents in the Doubles, met a very tough pair in McLaren and Morris, who defeated them.
