At a meeting of the Reception Committee, it was decided to telegraph to the Actin<*Premier, asking that, if possible, it fhould jjj.3 arranged that the Orient, witli the returning troopers, should arrive off the Heads some time on night of Monday. 21st, so that she could enter at high water," between three and four o'clock next morning. After a parade and sports at Forbury. it was deemed to entertain the returning soldiers at a social in the evening.
