At the Sheffield monthly market on Friday there was a small entry, only a littte over 1400 sbeq> and lambs cammp to band, the bulk beiDg ewes with lambs. Pat sheep were represented by under 100, which were htt& better than good forward stores. There was a good yarding of pigs, over 70 being pennsd, mostly small stores wjth a fewpood porkers. The competition was fair, the following prices bring obtained: — Baconers 37s 6d to 58s 6d. porkers 17e 6d to 235. small stores 6s 6d to 10s.
