United Prese Association—By Electrio Telegraph— Copyright. (Received September 15th, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, September 14. Hundreds of negroes are still looting at Galveston. Ninety have been shot. Most of diem refuse to work, and some are being forced at the point of the bayonet to assist in the cremation of the dead. Four thousand one hundred bodies have been recovered at Galveston. v There were ten thousand casualties. Every tide brings ashore scores of bodies. (Received September 16th, 4.58 p.m.)
NEW YORK, September 15. A million dollars hare been subscribed for the relief of the sufferers at Galveston.
