Lead imports are 12,483 tons, including 1950 tons of Australian; export, amount to 4156 tons. Wheat at Mark Lane is 6d lower on the week. The "French export* bounties on sugar, after August, will range from 2a 4_d down to Is 10(d per quintal. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date 15th inst. : — "Tbe butter market is firm. We quote Victorian prime factory butter 112s per cwt. for early arrivals. ".Since our last telegram tallow in general is unchanged, but there is a fair demand."
