TRIAL OF THE MEN ARRESTED.
MR REITZ IMPLICATED. CAPETOWN, April 20. The trial of the men arrested for preparing for the destruction of the Rand mines is proceeding. Munnick, in cross-examina-tion, admitted that Mr Reitz had instructed him to prepare to dynamite twenty-five mines, including several of the richest. STATEMENTS BY JOHANNESBURG REFUGEES. Tbe Johannesburg refugees declare that the plan to destroy the mines has not been abandoned, despite tho official disclaimers %nd protests of the foreign Consuls. DEATH OF TWO AUSTRALIANS. Lieutenant Bascho and Trooper Bender, of the New South Wales Mounted Infa_itry, died of enteric fever. THE BOER PEACE DELEGATES. AMSTERDAM, April 20. Mr Fischer and the other Boer peace delegates, liad fifteen minutes' audience with the Queen of Holland.
