(press association- telegrams.) AUCKLAND, April 21. Tho Premier left by the express train for Rotorua this morning, accompanied by Miss Seddon. He returns to Auckland next week, and will be present at the Masonic installation of Bro. A. S. Russell.
WELLINGTON, April 21. A man named Penny, a cook at Hellersden Station, eighteen miles irom Blenheim, has been missing since Wednesday. He went out rabbit poisoning in rough country, and has not returned. He was aged twentyfour years, and was a ship's steward in Wellington.
DUNEDIN, April 21. Mr Robert Bauchop, timber merchant, of Port Chalmers, and father of Lieutenant Bauohop, of the Fourth Contingent, died this morning. He was a wominent Freemason, and one of the founders of Court Robin Hood, A.O.F. Hβ had been a resident of Port Chalmers since early in the sixties.
