TO THE EDITOR OK THE PRESS. Sir, —Mr Ptitchett says that the effect of the Women's National Council repudiating the notion that the standard of morality should be lower in man than in woman has bad the effect of lowering the standard for the most moral of tbe two. May I ask Mr Pritchett whether wa are to understand that he, as a clergyman-, considers that the National Council was wrong in advocating one standard of morality, and that his church recognises a double standard?— Yours, etc., TRUTH SEEKER,
