WAIPAWA.
At the meeting held on Monday, 2nd April, there were George Clifford (chairman). Colonel Fox, Messrs M. J. Burke, A. Earshman, and J. Cameron. It was decided to hold the next annual meeting of ratepayers and election, as well as the ordinary meeting, on Monday, May 7th. The Clerk was appointed Returning Officer. The following contracts were let: —North Waikari Valley road, formation, culverts, etc., lump sum £14 4s, shingling Is per yard, P. Honeyboue; Mount Lookout road, formation, cuttings, stone fords, etc., lump sum of £40, G. Honeybone. Accounts were passed for £447 13s 7d.
