THE CHIEF DAIRY EXPERT LEAVING.
A Wellington telegram states that Mr James Ruddick, chief dairy expert of the colony, has received and accepted an offer from the Dominion Government, Canada, and will leave tile" colony early in June. Mr Ruddick came to New Zealand in 1898 from Canada, where he had charge of the Kingston Dairy School, which is controlled by the Government. Mr Ruddick hits now been appointed Supervisor of Produce in the Dominion of Canada.
