SHIPWRECKS.
_ «. I "Above the din is heard the Captain's voice, All hands prepare the boats, we have ao , choice." Neptune's victims are many, .in spito of . all tho precautions of science aud ingenuity. A vessel may be well built, with sound ; and iron plates, and water-tig_. '■ compartments. Her captain may be cautious, iher officers steady, and her crew active and obedient. Yet a sudden mist, a sunken rock, a heavy galo, and the ship succumbs to the devouring elements. May be, as in the recent case of the ill-fated Glenelg, tho captain sticks to bis post and goes down with his ship. Possibly a fow of the crew and passengers get clear ia , small boats, and after terribk sufferings are saved to add another woeful story of ship. ' wreck to {-©'world's chronicle of such disasters. I The analogy between those who go down , j to the sea in ships and those who launch on the sea of life is tolerably obvious. We I start on our life's voyage, with, perhaps, a . robust frame and constitution, fearless of any storms which may arise. Our eyes . are alert to detect any rocks ahead. We " take all common-sense precautions in the way of clothing-, diet,, and hygienic ar- . rangements, audi are careful as to habits. Yet we have overlooked the fact that; special climatic conditions call for special care. We have neglected to provide ourselves with, that great life preserver, Warner's Safe , Cure. .' This medicine 'has saved more people from -untimely deaths, and is keep- -. ing mora -people- in perfect health to-day, than any, other medical discovery ever known in the entire history of the world. If the liver or kidneys are weakened, diseased, sluggisb, and incompetent, instead of hurrying the poisons out of the body they" act as-a dam, and with every beat of t_B heart the poison is forced through the system. Mr W. D. -incock, 148 Lennox street, Richmond; -Vie...writes as follows: ! "I was; suffering for some considerable tHfU j with weakness of the heart and kidney comI plaint. I was advised to try Warner's Safe ' Cure, and did so with wondorfullv good r results. After using five bottles I quite I recovered my health, and can confidently recommend this -medicine to anyone sufferi ing similarly."
