PERSONAL ITEMS.
Judge Ward was a passenger for Wellington by the Rotomahana last night. The Hon. J. D. Ormond was a passenger by the same steamer. Mr T. L. Smith left for Wellington by the Rotomahana. Mr E. G. Wright is in town. Mr and Mrs Collins, of Brisbane, are at present in Christchurch. Mr A. Joll arrived from Dunedin yesterday. Mr D. Rutherford, of Leslie Hills, is in town. Mr G. T. Denniston, of Peel Forest, is in Christchurch.
