It it believed that all yesterday's victims were employed in the infected area. About 400 persons are shut up in th« quarantined district, most of the labouring class. The Government is feeding then and using the males to ciean up the place. Tha man who was admitted into the Sydney Hospital last night was declared affected with the plague this morning. The cases of inoculated patients are bein£ watched with interest. Two cases of plague are reported at tht Sydney Hospital—viz., Gatee and Burbridgt —and one case from Annandale —viz., Benii#U —making five for the day. The French Government is sending out 1 quantity of anti-plague serum as a gift tt the New South Wales Government.
